It contains minerals like magnesium, cooper, zinc, and iron. Suitable for sensitive and oily skin types. Can be used for face and body mask and soap making.

French yellow clay sourced from France; this clay is rich in minerals. It contains iron, magnesium, potassium, calcium, and trace elements. Its pale-yellow color is determined by its mineral content. It is a good dead skin remover and gentle detoxifier. suitable for sensitive skin. Works as a skin balancing it absorbs excess oil on skin when used as a mask.

Bentonite clay is a volcanic clay used for its adsorption properties. It is particularly effective to remove oil, dead skin cells, impurities, dirt from pores which reduce its appearance. It is a potent absorption agent, more suitable for oily skin types.

It can act as a protective barrier for the skin. It detoxifies skin with its negative charged metallic elements, rejuvenates and hydrates skin. Suitable for sensitive skin types.

Brazilian purple clay is a mineral rich cosmetic clay sourced from Brazil. This clay gets its purple color due to the high concentration of magnesium in its mineral content. Magnesium is believed to have anti-aging properties all together with the other minerals in this clay. This clay is often used in skin care products for the previously mentioned properties.
Clays can just be mixed with water or rose water and be applied to the skin. Some clays like bentonite are mixed with apple cider vinegar to potentiate its cleaning properties.

  • Mix 4-5 tablespoons of clay powder with warm water
  • Apply to dry hair from roots to tips
  • Leave on for 20-40 minutes
  • Rinse thoroughly

Hair and Scalp Mask

  • Mix one or two tablespoons of Rhassoul clay with one teaspoon of aloe vera
  • Add one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, and jojoba oil.
  • Mix well and add water as necessary to obtain a soft mix.
  • Apply to hair and scalp.
  • Leave on for 15-30 minutes and rinse thoroughly

Brazilian Purple Clay mask

• Mix one teaspoon of clay with water to obtain a soft mixture.
• Apply to clean face wait 10 to 15 minutes or until dry.
• Remove mask from skin rinsing with water.
• Pat dry with clean towel.
